Since 2016, Rundle Health Centre has operated in the Beverly community to provide more localized services to those who live in the area. Due to increasing costs and current economic realities, it is with regret that we are announcing that Rundle Health Centre will close permanently, with our last day of operations being Friday, March 1, 2024.
We recognize the importance of local access for this community to the services provided at Rundle Health Centre, and we are committed to maintaining a local presence. We are hoping to do so through a partnership with a community agency or providers. Opportunities to co-locate are being actively pursued and we look forward to sharing more about these initiatives.
Most of our services will be available and offered at the Edmonton Community Health Hub North. Unfortunately, addictions counselling and food bank pickup will not be offered at the Hub. The nurse practitioner program will continue at the Hub until May 31, 2024 but is not taking new patients.
Self-referrals for those with a T5W, T5Y and T5A postal code will be accepted for services at the Edmonton Community Health Hub North once Rundle Health Centre closes. This ensures there is no disruption in services provided to those who live in the community.
Thank you for the opportunity to be a partner in your health care journey and we look forward to seeing you at the Hub!
