Medication Review

Taking medications can be overwhelming and confusing.  A pharmacist can sit down and take the time to answer any questions or concerns regarding your medications. This could include:

  • Reviewing all medications, including vitamins, supplements, herbs and over the counter medications
  • Explaining why you are taking specific medications, how to use them best to minimize interactions and side effects
  • Make suggestions and recommendations to you or your physician about your medications, if needed
  • Providing education and training on how to inject insulin. The pharmacist can also prescribe insulin and adjust your dose as required

This program is primarily for those who are  using narcotics, benzodiazepines and/or controlled medications. A chronic pain consultant will assist in developing a care plan for the referring physician to consider and implement.

If you would like an appointment with our pharmacist, ask your doctor for a referral.
