Edmonton Community Health Hub North

One on one appointments for services at the Edmonton Community Health Hub North require a referral from a primary care provider who is a member of the Edmonton North PCN. Once you see them and request a referral for one of our services, we will contact you to book an appointment.

Rundle Health Centre

If you have a T5W, T5A or T5Y postal code, you can self-refer for services provided at Rundle Health Centre, in addition to getting a referral from your primary care provider who is a member of the Edmonton North PCN.

Classes

A number of our classes, as well as classes at other PCNs do not require a referral. Visit the classes page to see which classes you may be interested in attending.

 

Yes, a number of our programs have the option of a phone or virtual appointment. When you are contacted to book your appointment, please ask the referral administrator you are speaking with if these options are available for your appointment.

Due to the nature of some of our appointments with specialists, virtual appointments may not be available.

Once we receive a referral from your primary care provider, you will be contacted by a member of our team to book your appointment.

We understand that life happens and you may need to change or cancel your appointment. We do ask that you provide at least 48 hours notice as this may allow us to book someone into this appointment slot.

We ask that if something comes up and you are no longer able to make your appointment that you call to let us know at least 24 hours before your appointment for patient care services and 48 hours for on-site specialists. If you repeatedly do not attend your appointments without letting us know, you may require a new referral to access services.

Some specialist clinics do have no-show or late cancellation fees, depending on the service.  You will be made aware of these fees at the time of booking.

You can call the location at which your appointment was booked at and they will be happy to answer any questions you may have. Edmonton Community Health Hub North can be reached at 780-473-7131 and Rundle Health Centre can be reached at 780-479-1533.

Most programs and services at the Edmonton North PCN are free. The exception would be a small number of services provided in our speciality clinic that is not covered by Alberta Health Care. You will be made aware at the time of booking if there are any associated fees with your appointment. 

As of June 19, 2023, masking is no longer required for in-person services at both Edmonton Community Health Hub North and Rundle Health Centre locations. We respect those who continue to wear a mask while attending their appointments at the PCN. At the request of the patient, healthcare providers will also wear a mask during your appointment.
